Family Gold srl is a gold and silver jewellery company founded in the early ‘80s with the identification code 586 AR.
The company, which has been in business for over 40 years, specialises in the production of hollow and solid rope chains, both handmade and laser-cut.
Family Gold’s founding partners of are the four Nanni siblings: Elena, Maria Rosa, Giuseppe and Guido.

The company began its activity producing hollow and solid chains in a small artisan workshop in Laterina. Over the years, further investments allowed machines and technologies into the production process, leading to product innovation and new designs.
In 2014, the company moved from Ponticino to a new and larger facility in Pieve al Toppo due to production increase.
Today, Family Gold, together with its group, offers new collections that are the result of close collaboration between its partners and their collaborators, patenting and building new machinery to manufacture innovative and cutting-edge items that are both shiny and lightweight, receiving excellent response from different markets.
By reducing the thickness of the jewels in order to lower the cost of precious metals on the final price, the company has conquered the world's major markets: the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, South America, as well as the domestic market.

PRODUCTION PROCESS- MANUFACTURING
In addition to jewellery production, Family Gold srl also manufactures silver and brass items, establishing important partnerships with international high fashion brands.
The manufacturing of semi-finished products is carried out industrially. Specific machinery allows us to go from precious metal casting to the creation of metal sheets. From each sheet, we make the hollow tube/bar from which, through special artisanal techniques, we obtain different chain patterns for the production of bracelets, earrings and necklaces. The crafting processes from the semi-finished product to the finished product require highly specialised workers. The manufacturing stages take place inside the company, with the exception of surface galvanic treatments, for which external suppliers are involved.
Sample design is fully in-house and results from a close collaboration between customer relations staff and the prototype development team. For this reason, Family Gold’s collections fully reflect the requests of business operators on international markets.
